Welcome to the website of Birmingham Muay Thai Instructor Steve Logan.
Steve is the pioneer for Muay Thai in Birmingham. Steve along with friend set up Birmingham’s first Muay Thai gym over 25 years ago. He later founded K-Star Thai Boxing Academy over 20 years ago, first in a community centre, then he opened the first full time Muay Thai gym in Birmingham to be open 7 days a week. That was the first K-Star Thai boxing academy in Perry Barr, Birmingham that is still the centre of K-Star.
Steve is also a pioneering promoter, Steve was the first person to promote Muay Thai fights in Birmingham over 15 years ago and he has put on regular Muay Thai fights ever since, making him Birmingham’s most successful Thai Boxing promoter. He regular shows at the Tower Ballroom are always an exciting night out.
Steve’s K-Star Thai Boxing academy is Birmingham’s most successful Muay Thai gym. Steve has trained many, many Muay Thai champions and knows exactly what it takes to make it as a Muay Thai fighter. Steve himself was a Muay Thai Champion, winning the Midland Area Title by first round knockout. After winning the area title at 31 years old he decided to open a full time academy and focus on his students. He has since trained 1,000’s of people since including World and European Champions and some excellent Instructors.
Steve believes that when he is training his students and Instructors that is very important to stress correct Muay Thai Techniques , this he believes has been a major part in the success of his Birmingham Muay Thai gyms.
The purpose of this site is to share Steve’s vast experience of teaching Muay Thai in Birmingham and share it with as many people as possible. One of the best ways to do this is through Muay Thai videos and this site will have a Muay Thai video section to help educate you. There will also be a section about Muay Thai History.
Many years ago Steve was also a Pro Wrestler, so there will also be a section about Steve Logan Wrestler.
